Important places in Bangalore:

Vidhana Soudha: Vidhana Soudha was built in the year 1956. And it is the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka, stylishly constructed and described as Neo-Dravidian, Rajasthani and Dravidian styles.  This monument took 5 years to complete; this project was started by Shri Kengal Hanumanthaiah, who was Chief Minister of Mysore at that time. The foundation was laid by the Prime minister of India at that time, who was Jawahar Lal Nehru, on July the 3rd 1951.
